Working Together to Safeguard Children - Refresher
Aim:
This course aims to refresh the knowledge of practitioners who have previously completed Working Together more than three years ago and who have not had any other advanced level training in the interim.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course participants will:
- Have updated their knowledge regarding latest legislation and statutory guidance in safeguarding
- Have revisited the importance of working in a multi agency way in order to effectively safeguard children
- Explore and address issues they have encountered in their professional role in safeguarding children
- Share and increase knowledge in relation to good practice
- Be aware of findings from Serious Case Reviews both locally and nationally.
