Aim:
To enable managers to understand the procedures to be followed when there is an allegation against a person who works with children.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course participants will:
- Have been introduced to the Allegations against persons who work with children protocol
- Have received information about the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer in Kirklees
- Have received information about the different roles and responsibilities in dealing with these allegations
- Have considered the issue of thresholds and referrals
- Have consider how allegations may impact on them as a manager and on their colleagues
