Safeguarding Week

The Safeguarding Children Partnership, Safeguarding Adult Board, Communities and partner organisations present Safeguarding Week 2023 to raise awareness about safeguarding children and adults and the importance that safeguarding is everyone’s business.

This year’s Safeguarding Week programme is different from previous years, with Kirklees taking part in a West Yorkshire wide Safeguarding Week. Each Local Authority will host a day each to present a topic of their choice and all practitioners and managers from across West Yorkshire can attend all the events:
