Aim
For participants to have the opportunity to understand what lessons have been identified in both national and local serious case reviews.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Identify some of the issues raised in both national and local serious case reviews
- Transfer the lessons learned from serious case reviews into your everyday practice
- Describe changes to local polices and practice as a result of serious case reviews
- Recognise the emotional impact that serious case reviews have on those involved, colleagues, managers and the general public
