Kirklees Road Safety Champions
A group of young people in Kirklees, the Kirklees Road Safety Champions, visit schools, youth clubs and other venues to pass on road safety messages. Members of the group are fully tained and are supported by the Kirklees IYCE (involving young citizens equally) service. They work closely with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, West Yorkshire Police, Kirklees Street Scene, British Transport Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service to reduce the number of accidents on our roads.
