This session will look at:

This briefing session will provide information about the impact of learning disability on parenting capacity, and the factors which should be considered when identifying, analysing and managing this source of parenting vulnerability.

Information will be provided about local sources of support, for individuals coping with learning difficulties, and the agreed routes that professionals should use to link with these sources of expertise.
- Statutory responsibilities of professionals and best practice guidelines when working with individuals when learning disability is a factor will be clarified.
