Aim:
To enable better detection and protection of children at risk of Forced Marriage.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course participants will:
- Understand the concept of Forced Marriage
- Understand the legal context of Forced Marriage
- Know how to identify children at risk of forced marriage
- Understand the barriers to seeking help and service provision
- Know what action to take when a disclosure is made regarding fear of or actual forced marriage
- Discussion of local and national case examples of good practice
