Private Fostering - An Overview

About the Course

This course is for everyone, including members of the public, who would like to have a basic awareness of private fostering. The course explains what a private fostering arrangement is, the regulations, and the responsibility to inform the local council about children who are looked after by someone else in a private fostering arrangement. The course is free.

Durham County Council hold the Copyright to all material contained in the course. The course should take approximately 40 minutes to complete including a knowledge check at the end. Upon successful completion of the course you will be able to print a certificate of achievement.
