E-Safety Awareness
Aim
This course aims to increase participants' knowledge of safeguarding issues in relation to new technology.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the opportunities and risks of the digital world
- State where and how to report abuse
- Recognise the need for developing agency initiatives on e-safety and be confident in doing so
- Explain where to get publications and resources to use and distribute including practical materials that can be used with children
Other information
This course is now CEOP accredited. You will need to bring a copy of a current CRB in order to receive an accredited certificate.
